Scout Fireworks – 2021

We have decided not to commit to the expense of booking a fireworks display this year due to the on-going uncertainty around COVID and what restrictions might be re-introduced later in the Autumn.

As an alternative, we are running a Grand Raffle and Blind Auction. Look out for flyers and posters around the village.

Raffle

The Raffle will be the same as at fire works but with bigger prizes. Tickets will be £5 per ticket. Prize items include vouchers for local hairdressers, beauty treatments, dog grooming, fitness, florists, free MOT, fruit and veg hamper, wines etc.

Blind Auction

The Blind Auction will have prizes worth £100 plus where people make a bid and highest bidder wins.

Resumption of face-to-face Activities

We have resumed face-to-face scouting following a thorough refurb and deep clean of the scout hut, and production of a comprehensive risk assessment.

View our approved Outdoor Risk Assessment, and Indoor Risk Assessment.

We will continue to follow official guidance; the safety of everyone involved in Scouts, both young people and adults, is our number one priority. That is always at the heart of our decision making.
